Victims of Pathribal Killing

Victims of Pathribal Killing

The people who were killed in cold blood and the army said it was encounter with the militants from Pakistan. In fact they were the local people.

The five men killed at Panchalthan (known as Pathribal encounter)  are now believed to be two farmers from Brari Angan, both named Jumma Khan and one of them a man of 60; two shepherds from the village of Halan, Bashir Ahmed Butt and Mohammad Yusuf Malik; and one young cloth merchant from the city of Anantnag, Zahoor Dalal.

From google I come across a book wherein details of how one of the victim Jumma Khan alias Darvesh was picked from his home and murdered. The book is '9 Degrees of Justice by Bisakha Dutt of Delhi. Here are two pages clipped from net. Also see the images at bottom gathered from net.
